Hi, I’m Katelyn Brown — founder of Vital Health.
Years ago, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and constantly being told “everything looks normal” by doctors… even when I knew something wasn’t right.
I had two little kids who needed a healthy mom — not one surviving on coffee, sugar, and late-night internet searches for answers. I wanted energy. I wanted clarity. I wanted real, natural solutions that didn’t come with a mile-long list of side effects.
So I went deep down the rabbit hole of alternative health.
That journey started small: switching out processed snacks, learning about the gut-brain connection, experimenting with adaptogens, and (much to my husband Dan’s amusement) trying every kind of detox under the sun.
Some things worked. Some didn’t. But eventually, I started to feel like myself again.
Why I Started Vital Health
Vital Health was born from a simple mission:
To help other women feel informed, empowered, and connected to their bodies — without being dismissed, gaslit, or told “it’s just stress.”
I share what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and what I’m testing right now — with the help of my husband Dan (our resident technical wizard who makes all this tech run smoothly).
We don’t push hype.
We don’t follow fads.
And we definitely don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to wellness.
Meet the Family
I’m married to Dan, who helps run the back-end of the blog and has a not-so-secret obsession with gadgets, coding, and AI tools. He keeps things running while I write, test, and research.
We have two amazing kiddos who inspire everything we do — and who have probably tried more elderberry gummies, weird green smoothies, and magnesium sprays than any other kids on the block.
